About the project
Every company faces the process of onboarding a new employee or upskilling an existing one within the organisation. These processes can arise for various reasons. This project helps address the issue of internal employee training. Skilley is a SAAS platform that enables the creation of personalised educational content and the monitoring of the learning process for both managers and employees.
User research
Through a comprehensive research study utilizing User Personas, Customer Journey Mapping, and User Flow Visualization, potential users of a SAAS platform were deeply examined. The investigation highlighted that employees crave swift, high-quality feedback on their training and desire autonomy in selecting educational content. In contrast, managers seek a user-friendly dashboard to monitor employee learning progress and efficient tools for course material creation. These insights provide a solid foundation for refining the SAAS platform to meet the specific needs of users, aiming to enhance engagement and productivity.
Onboarding
For effective integration with the Skilley SAAS platform, the implementation of a flexible onboarding process is crucial. By allowing managers to create accounts as both administrators and learners, Skilley ensures convenience in management. The process of creating a new account becomes expedited through login options via Google, Facebook, or LinkedIn. Managers can easily add employees to existing teams or create new ones, as well as upload not only pre-existing materials but also their own, along with utilizing recommendations and AI-generated content.
Dashboards
The User Dashboard offers an all-encompassing toolset tailored to individual needs. It seamlessly integrates a path progress bar, modules tabs, and an extensive materials section that details type, description, time, skills acquired, CTA options, pricing, and providers. While users are initially provided with an assigned learning path, the platform grants the autonomy to select supplementary training according to personal preferences. Crucially, the dashboard vividly displays the user's progress, ensuring transparency and motivation throughout their learning journey.
The Administrator Dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of vital insights for streamlined management. It empowers administrators with real-time data on employee learning progress and budget allocation. The dashboard's features encompass a succinct paths overview, a detailed breakdown of team members and their respective learning paths, interactive skills infographics with customizable filters, and informative budget visuals. This amalgamation of tools equips administrators to make informed decisions, optimize resource distribution, and ensure seamless learning and budgetary efficiency.
